What is an ASB Card?
If you participate in athletics, clubs, student government (ASR), yearbook, newspaper, or drama and music programs, you must purchase an ASB card. Your ID card receives an ASB sticker that designates that you have paid the ASB fee.

  • ASB funds cover and assist the expense of these extracurricular activities. Dances, assemblies, student recognition, and programs organized by ASR also benefit from ASB funds. Your ASB card will get you reduced price entry fees for:
  • Football & Basketball games
  • School Dances
  • Drama Productions
  • ASR Sponsored Activities
  • Any student who is an active participant in the student activities listed above will be asked to confirm their purchase of an ASB card.

What is an ID card?
Every student receives a Roosevelt ID card that contains their picture and student number. Students must always carry this card with them during school hours and school functions. An ID card can be turned into an ASB card at any time during the year by paying the $50 ASB fee and receiving the ASB sticker.

I qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch – do I still need to purchase an ASB card?
No, you have free access to all ASB related activities without having to purchase an ASB card. If you qualify, please sign up for the SPS Free and Reduced lunch program. If you are not sure whether you qualify but your family has experienced hardship due to Covid-19, please apply. Through this program, you will have free access to all sports games and ASB-sponsored activities. There will be more information coming out from nutrition services regarding FRL.

Who do I contact if I have questions?
Contact Marjorie Gamble in the main office at 206-252-4810 or by email at mgamble@seattleschools.org or
