Ms. Ambyr Burrell has been selected as the new principal of Roosevelt High School.

Phones will be “No Cell Bell to Bell”. Phones will be kept away during class, with limited access during lunch and passing periods.

The 2026-27 school year will begin as scheduled on Wednesday, Sept. 2!

A tentative agreement was reached between SPS and SEA on a contract to replace the one that expired on Aug. 31, 2026.
