Roosevelt’s Jazz Band 1 will share the stage with long-time (friendly) rivals Garfield Jazz Band 1 as part of the Earshot Jazz Festival on Oct. 25th at 5pm. Do not miss it! These are two of the region’s premier high school jazz bands directed by Ms. Hannah Mowry (Roosevelt), and Mr. Jared Sessink (Garfield) together on one stage to battle it out and swing like mad. Message from our Librarian

Hello Roughriders,

This is Ms. Redmond, the librarian. The library is located right across from the main office.

I have some information that will be helpful to you.

  • You can print for your classes here in the library. Just come on in and follow the directions located near the printer/copier.
  • Your Seattle Public Library Link account four-digit pin# has changed. It’s now the last four digits of your student ID#. Find your student ID# on The Source ((Not your State ID#)
  • Change your password ASAP! Or you’ll be locked out of your laptop and account if your password isn’t 12 characters or longer. Here’s how:
  1. Log in on an SPS laptop
  2. Hold down the ctrl alt delete keys all at the same time
  3. Choose “change a password” from the list
  4. Be sure your new password is 12 digits/characters or longer, so you don’t lose access.
  • Drop into the library to grab a library pass during passing time if you know you’d like to come down to book shop, ask a question, work on your own or with a peer.

Cheers,

Ms. Redmond, M.Ed.
