World Language Credit Testing Timeline 2019-2020
For Seattle High School Students:
- Find out if you qualify and which tests to take on the district website.
- Check with your school counselor about testing dates at your high school

Register for Washington World language Assessment Day at the Seattle World School
Testing is sponsored for 9th 10th, 11th and 12th graders in Seattle Public Schools.
(If funds are available, students in grade 8 may be sponsored later in the spring.)
To earn 1-4 world language credits in your language, how well can you do the following?
- I can understand ideas on familiar topics expressed through phrases, short sentences, and frequently used expressions.
- I can understand the main idea and some details in simple texts that contain familiar vocabulary.
- I can exchange information with another person about familiar tasks, topics and activities.
- I can use a series of phrases and sentences to provide basic information about familiar topics.
- I can write simple descriptions and short messages and request or provide information on
familiar topics.
