      • Description: Volunteers are helping to distribute food to customers 6 days a week. Volunteers assist with packing premade non-perishable boxes, shopping for customers, sorting donations, restocking shelves and helping maintain a clean and safe grocery store.
    • Magnuson Park Community Food Pantry

      - The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 11am-2pm, with volunteer shifts from 10am-1pm and 12-3pm (or volunteers can do both shifts). Both one-time and ongoing regular volunteer opportunities are available to individuals and groups.

      - Description: Magnuson Park Community Food Pantry seeks volunteers to help provide food for Sand Point residents.

    • Clean Green Farm

    • Clean Green Farm needs volunteers to help grow organic, nutritious greens for the low income Central District community. We weed, hoe, and plant; people of all ages, ethnicities, beliefs working together to feed each other.

      - You will download an app and be paired up with a person when someone needs help. It could be that someone cannot read a label on something or they want to know what color something is. They will facetime you and you will hopefully be able to meet their needs.

    • Digital Volunteering at Smithsonian (Transcription Center)

                 - Ages 13 and older or have completed 8th grade but if you are under 16 you need a parent’s consent

    • Service Salute

                - When you finish writing a card or have any questions email servicesalute@gmail.com

                - Description: Write cards to essential workers. Every Saturday, you will receive an email listing the various locations you can choose from to send your cards. After you make you thank you cards you will carefully transcribe the corresponding address onto an envelope and mail it out.

                 - About three cards per week would get you one service hour
