    All scheduled classes must meet whether testing or not. Regardless of the length of the test, students will remain in the classroom for the entire period.

    University of Washington School of Dentistry's ASDA chapter is again hosting Dive into Dentistry Day. This workshop gives you the chance to get hands on experience and gain an insider's perspective on life in dental school. With current UW dental students and faculty running the show, you'll get a chance to learn all about life at UWSOD. There will be a chance to meet various dental students, current dentists, and hear about how admissions work at UWSOD. We'll teach you how to drill and fill a cavity preparation, sculpt a tooth out of wax, suture, take an impression, and ace your dental school interviews. This is a great opportunity to learn about dental school, meet some fellow pre-dents, get all your questions answered, and build up those ever important resumés.

    Breakfast and lunch are provided. Please wear business casual or scrubs.

    One World Now! Summer Language and Leadership Camp
    offers students a 3-week program in beginning Modern Standard Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, or Korean, and the opportunity to earn up to 0.5 World Language credits. Int eh afternoons, students will participate in cultural activities and leadership workshops. There is a registration fee of $25, but all other costs (supplies, snacks, lunch, field trips) are covered by OneWorld Now! thanks to a grant from STARTALK.

    The OneWorld Now! Summer Language & Leadership Camp will take place from July 9th to the 27th, 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, at Franklin High School in Seattle, WA. We will accept applications through June 15th. All students (rising 9th graders through graduating 12th graders) interested in learning these languages are encouraged to apply for the program.     Interested in Photo Journalism?
    The Northeast branch of the Seattle Public Library is offering an opportunity for students to connect with their community through photo journalism. You will learn the fundamentals of photography, including camera shooting, composition, and hot to manipulate photos using Adobe LightRoom. At the end of the program, you will share your art and experiences with the community at the gallery show. Cameras will be provided during the program. The schedule is below (all are mandatory):

    August 8, 5:30-7:30pm Community Presentation and Gallery Event

    The UW College of Environment is sponsoring a Future Student Visit Day
    for high school juniors and seniors to meet faculty, hear from current students and learn more about the program. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 17, at the UW Campus.     The Women's Center at UW is offering the following SAT Prep classes this summer.
