    SchoolPay accounts for athletics (buying ASB card, ASB/Yearbook Combo, and athletic fees) will be shut down from June 22 until Mid-August for the summer. You may pay for your ASB Card in late August or on Rider Day.

    One World Now! Summer Language and Leadership Camp
    offers students a 3-week program in beginning Modern Standard Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, or Korean, and the opportunity to earn up to 0.5 World Language credits. Int eh afternoons, students will participate in cultural activities and leadership workshops. There is a registration fee of $25, but all other costs (supplies, snacks, lunch, field trips) are covered by OneWorld Now! thanks to a grant from STARTALK.

    The OneWorld Now! Summer Language & Leadership Camp will take place from July 9th to the 27th, 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, at Franklin High School in Seattle, WA. We will accept applications through June 15th. All students (rising 9th graders through graduating 12th graders) interested in learning these languages are encouraged to apply for the program.     Interested in Photo Journalism?
    The Northeast branch of the Seattle Public Library is offering an opportunity for students to connect with their community through photo journalism. You will learn the fundamentals of photography, including camera shooting, composition, and hot to manipulate photos using Adobe LightRoom. At the end of the program, you will share your art and experiences with the community at the gallery show. Cameras will be provided during the program. The schedule is below (all are mandatory):

    July 30-August 3, 1-4pm Youth in Focus Training
    August 8, 5:30-7:30pm Community Presentation and Gallery Event

    The UW College of Environment is sponsoring a Future Student Visit Day
    for high school juniors and seniors to meet faculty, hear from current students and learn more about the program. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 17, at the UW Campus. The event is free, but you must pre-register at If you have questions, call 206-543-3141.

    The Women's Center at UW is offering the following SAT Prep classes this summer.

Explore the possibilities by enrolling in the Teaching Academy: Careers in Education at the Seattle Skills Center. The school-year program starts in September.
